I lead a team of engineers, analysts, and developers in support of the Quality Assurance organization across all of Lockheed Martin Space. This role is primarily project management with a strong bias for continuous improvement with global vision and impact.

Greater Denver Area

In this role, I manage a team of Quality Assurance (QA) Engineers and Inspectors, providing QA support to ten different test labs across Lockheed Martin Space's Waterton (Denver) campus. These labs provide test capabilities such as thermal vacuum environments, acoustics, structural loading, fueling/propulsion checks, vibration, and electrical performance to ensure our satellites and vehicles can endure the harsh environment of space. In each test, our Quality team provides test procedure reviews, test setup inspections, process validations, anomaly and troubleshooting investigations, and nonconformance dispositions, as well as generally performing audit and surveillance functions, root cause/corrective action management, and process improvements.

Greater Denver Area

Leveraging my experience from the Missiles and Fire Control business area, I support and manage Space's RF & Antenna Production Operations (RAPO) Quality initiatives, lead improvement projects, perform trend analysis and implement corrective actions, interface with our government and program customers, and resolve any incidents, drops, or FOD.

Orlando, Florida Area

I operate as the Quality Engineering lead in Lockheed Martin's Orlando Microelectronics Center (MEC), overseeing all Quality operations required to produce ~11,000 assemblies per month. Currently, I lead a team of three including another quality engineer, supplier quality engineer, and inspection supervisor. Responsibilities include:- Overseeing nonconformance documentation, disposition, and closure. Driving continuous improvement to reduce quantity of defects generated.- Leading the Corrective Action Board, analyzing trends, determining root cause, implementing corrective action, and tracking effectivity.- Providing Quality review and approval of all new engineering documents and all changes to existing engineering.- Generating work instructions for inspection and providing Quality review and approval for all new and changed manufacturing work instructions.- Creating, witnessing, completing, and approving all First Article Inspection reports in MEC. Interfacing with programs and customers when customer approval is required.- Documenting all Material Review Board (MRB) decisions, such as Use-As-Is and Repair, and providing to MEC's customers for approval. Fielding all questions from technical teams and customers as necessary for concurrence.- Generating internal audit schedule, performing audits, and documenting results- Supporting all external audits, including NQA and/or BSI AS9100 audits, Defense Contracts Management Agency (DCMA) audits, and program customer audits (JAMS, JPO, etc.)

Orlando, Florida Area

Sole Supplier Quality Engineer in LM's Microelectronics Center. Responsible for all supplier related activity using SAP P2P modules. Job tasks included review of Purchase Order quality notes, creating and updating Receiving Inspection plans, dispositioning all Receiving nonconformances and shop floor supplier rejections, issuing, reviewing, and approving all Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs), and performing supplier audits.While successfully performing as Supplier Quality Engineer, also completed the following stretch assignments- Hardware Quality Engineer supporting "continuing technology development"​ contract for new missile. Built approximately 40 units, reporting all design and manufacturing issues back to the team.- Hardware Quality Engineer overseeing our EMI gridding area. Using photolithography and metal deposition, the area produced metal gridding lines on sapphire panels for various programs.

Orlando, Florida Area

Oversaw composites production as associate Quality engineer. Produced approximately ten 12-25 square foot baseplate and dome structures per month. Statused nonconformances and led multi-functional engineering team to review Use-As-Is or Repair dispositions. Produced and clarified inspection work instructions.
