Nicholas Bauer Email and Phone Number
Medical student and researcher passionate about clinical outcomes and social epidemiology among 2SLGBTQ+ and Indigenous Peoples in Canada. Particularly interested in the impacts of healthcare policy and practice on sexual health disparities, frailty, and outcomes following critical illness. I have experience in biomedical, epidemiological, and clinical research, with strength in quantitative methods and analysis. Through my advocacy work, I have previously engaged in the promotion of comprehensive sexual health education, lobbied city of Toronto councillors for long term housing for refugees, and advocated for gender health equity in medicine. The ultimate goal of my research and future clinical practice is to address social and scientific gaps in healthcare by amplyifying lived experience, rewriting policy, and optimizing health-resource management.
