Looking to build a "Better Mouse Trap", Nick moved to AmerifFirst to explore and implement new marketing and business development ideas that successfully boosted business activity. He has since continued to share and implement those ideas.

Nick started with PrimeLending, growing his business from $18M/yr to $36M/yr. He was named to PrimeLending's Power Producer group each year during his tenure.

During this time Nick went back to school part time to pursue his MBA at the University of San Diego. Higher education was always important to Nick and during this time he continued to work alongside loan partner Nick Dawson to build their team and brand, the Dawson Harris Group. They continue to work together today making the American Dream of home ownership a reality for hundreds of families each year.

Nick got his start in the Mortgage industry with Charter Funding while still a student at San Diego State University. He was recruited by current loan partner, Nick Dawson, to enter into a mentorship program where Nick learned the basics of the Mortgage business. He spent 6 months shadowing Nick D. and upon graduation began working full time along side. During his tenure he assisted in implementing a robust customized database using the ACT! platform. Nick also helped cultivate and start relationships with REALTORs in San Diego that he still has the pleasure of working with still today.
