Clerk's are responsible for delivering outstanding customer service while maintaining a safe, clean and efficient environment within the standard operating practices of the local and national regulations. Nicholas has excelled given the opportunity to utilize an incredible positive energy along with the guiding principles of mathematics to increase productivity both in front of and behind the scenes. As part of a dedicated team, Nicholas is responsible for validating and sorting invoice documentation, interacting with both management and customers to provide an efficient environment and wonderful service. Nicholas has also been able to take several professional training courses and intends to take as many as possible.

As the head of Property Management for his family-owned rental income business, Nicholas has taken on the responsibilities of several sites throughout New York and Connecticut including the evaluation of new property purchases, purchase price, renovation costs and future rental income analysis to determine overall profitability of prospects. Nick has also dealt extensively with customers and clients and has been the point of contact for management of tenants to include; new tenant evaluations, lease preparations, and legal follow up.Nicholas has also been responsible for financial management where he has been able to implement both Agile and Lean-Thinking to increase efficiency wherever possible. These responsibilities have included the cost analysis of large projects, annual income and expense reports, as well as tax filings. Nicholas holds several certifications including the EPA licenses for lead paint identification and safe removal. He has also been the project manager for several large-scale renovations where the integration of outside contractors was essential to the completion of a goal.

Nicholas assisted in designing, implementing and presenting furthering education seminars for master level teachers regarding ‘Math Trails’ and complex modeling. Seminars range in complexity and attendance depending on many factors but require an enormous amount of prep work for those giving the Seminar. Seminar Assistants must, therefore, be flexible, knowledgeable, and willing to learn as well as work with faculty and staff to provide an education experience for incoming students.

Nicholas taught after school literacy and mathematics to children ages 5-9 with a heavy emphasis on the different methods of thinking about and dealing with conceptual problems administered through spoken word.

Nicholas Paired with faculty and staff at Mount Saint Mary College as part of a year-long outreach program to teach integrated technological principles and literacy to children through the after-school outreach initiative. Participants were required to know several technological programs and languages in order to teach younger students who, in themselves, do not have access to the technology that dominates both education and work in the modern environment. Nicholas was able to teach Java, Excel, R, LaTeX and Mathematica over the course of several months.

Nicholas supported early education endeavors for children between the ages of 18 months and 5 years with regards to mathematics and language. He worked to build critical thinking and problem-solving skills using familiar concepts with new techniques and advances in education.
