About Nicholas Lucero

I was born in Colorado and raised by Grandparents on a farm. My Grandfather would always tell me that whatever it is that I was going to do - that I do it 100% and always show up 10 minutes early. That mindset that he had was born from a lifetime of hard work in both the military and the farm and every day his words pass through my mind and I hope to bring that to my work and my passions.I've been in highly technical sales for the last 15 years - learning about and genuinely loving the hidden industrial infrastructure around us that most people never get to see. I've been lucky enough to visit power plants, water treatment/wastewater plants, up / mid / down stream oil and gas, major food facilities, semiconductor facilities, biopharmaceutical facilities, remote air stations, and so many more of these types of facilities. I've been even luckier to meet wonderful people that work at these facilities and provide them with a variety of solutions that help them achieve their goals. Whether that be to have a software suite that allows them to automate government-required paperwork, an analyzer that requires very little maintenance but still provides world-class data that the public can see, to complicated skid designs that automate complex processes freeing up man-power and guaranteeing ROI - every application has inspired me in some manner to be customer-centric and work tirelessly to provide the companies I've worked for with great results.Some achievements I've been able to accomplish with the above mindset and experience:• Winning “Largest Analytical Project” for a million-dollar project that had a sales cycle of just a couple of months.• Taking sales from 0 to $1,000,000 for a new company in a year’s time.• Being 150% to plan in an established territory.• Selling several new products en masse before they were technically released to the public.• Establishing an unprecedented contract with a large municipality that involved both instrumentation and service.• Driving multiple sole source contracts for both OEMs and entire state government entities.These types of victories are both exciting and rewarding for me professionally.I've also been blessed to be able to have active art and family life that help support my professional activities as well as traveled the world!
