Working within the Flow Physics and Controls Branch at NASA Langley Research Center, I was tasked to analyze different bleed slot designs for the Mach 6 Quiet Tunnel being designed. The bleed slot was made using Shapr3D, and then a Helden mesh was created to be input into a simulation using Helden Tool software. Next time, accurate simulations of the Mach 6 Quiet Tunnel were run on HPC using FUN3D. Finally, with the FUN3D output, I used Tecplot and Python to generate graphs to determine a discriminator to measure each design's performance and discover how each design variable affected the performance of the tunnel.
