Dr. Perez is a double board certified psychiatrist, specializing in general psychiatry and child & adolescent psychiatry. He is qualified to treat mental health disorders of all ages. He incorporates genetic testing for patients whom are not experiencing symptomatic relief and have failed several psychotropic medication trials in addition to utilizing the newest innovations of AI into his current practice. Dr. Perez believes in a collaborate teamwork approach with his patients in regards to treatment recommendations and also provides a diverse approach to patient care due to his training in different regions of the USA (East coast, West coast, and Central region medical educational institutions). Currently, he is an independent contract psychiatrist for several programs funded by the County of San Diego providing psychiatric assessments to children, adolescents, and adults without insurance or with Medi-Cal. Dr. Perez has a small tele-health private practice providing psychiatric services to all ages (not currently accepting patients).
