Was extended the opportunity to work with one of El Paso's premier Commercial HVAC and Mechanical companies. Worked to create and implement plans that would update HVAC infrastructure on commercial properties including schools, hospitals, Fort Bliss Military facilities, shopping centers around the El Paso Texas area and low to mid level high rises such as The El Paso County Courthouse. Gained extensive knowledge in engineering plans, blueprints, and shop drawings through programs such as SolidWorks and Revit. Also gained knowledge in systems that include heaters, chillers and compressors. Learned about in the ins and outs of large scale commercial projects such as daily site activities, communication between superintendents, subcontractors, foremen, and site managers to ensure project requirements are met on time.Gained a solid foundation on needs such estimating materials and costs for projects, creating and revising change orders to accommodate projects, and keeping track of current in house materials available for use.

United States Department of Defense and Department of Veterans Affairs Congressional Intern Was granted the rare opportunity to intern for an extra semester and learn more about Constituent and Community outreach Assisted District Representatives on various projects related to the U.S. Department of Defense and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Created Congressional Inquiries that were sent out for approval. Relayed casework to the relevant District Representatives and inquired with the relevant agency to assist Constituents Inquiries. Kept constant contact with Constituents and relayed important information regarding their case. Managed and made updates to an information database that had access to thousands of Constituents. Frequently handled office correspondence such as logging incoming and outgoing calls and emails as well handling office visitors. Assisted the Office Manager and District Representatives in the creation of many community outreach events such as town halls. Worked well with fellow coworkers in a high stress environment and on many time sensitives issues.
