I'm a transportation guru with a passion for innovation in all things technological. My experience includes transportation logistics, system administration, patent prosecution, induction motor design, and defense engineering program support.As an Operations Manager, I oversee a 500 truck fleet including van, reefer, and open-deck trailers. I am involved in maintenance, equipment purchasing, driver hiring and retention, and over-the-road support. I manage new technology programs, including supervision of in-house software development projects.As a Systems Administrator, I've managed Windows, Mac, and Linux networks, including setup and configuration of central backup systems, firewalls, web servers, VoIP PBXs, security cameras, and centrally managed anti-virus. I've overseen equipment purchasing budgets, and drafted and revised network documentation, including new device setup procedures, emergency response procedures, and network inventory.As a Patent Engineer, I've drafted and prosecuted patents, both in the US and internationally, in fields as diverse as databases, algorithms, client/server architectures, machine learning, green energy production, energy storage, and robotics.Additional work includes: program analysis, documentation, and project management for high-tech Defense Industry programs; researching, designing, and analyzing induction motors; and developing automated testing software for liquid hydrogen fuel tanks. When I'm not obsessively researching the latest trucking developments, you can find me staying up late at a dark sight admiring the cosmos through my telescope, fiddling away with my latest network project, learning a new programing language, cutting a rug by dancing the night away, or driving around twisty mountain roads.Graduated with a BS in Engineering from Harvey Mudd College.
