I am currently an Order Fulfillment Associate at Home Depot and a U.S. Army Reservist in Civil Affairs (CA). I am also trained and certified in Battle Staff Operations, utilizing both the Joint Planning Process (JPP) and Military Decision Making Process (MDMP). As a CA Non-Commissioned Officer, I’m ready to be deployed again and further my military career in the realm of Civil Affairs and Military Government Operations.Previously, I was in the US Army as an Infantryman, working in various positions which included Company Intelligence Support Team (CoIST), Raven UAV Operations and the unit’s local Linguist (Afghan) coordinator for the Company overseas. I Was deployed from Mar-Sept 2015 to Afghanistan, the experience I received there was extremely important in my future and career path of Civil Affairs. Before and during deployment, my main job was CoIST. I provided my commander and the entire Company leadership bottom to top and top to bottom intelligence analysis and development for future battle spaces. However, though I was not an Intelligence Analyst, I was trained and capable to operate in tandem with the intelligence section in support of the Intelligence Preparation of the Battlefield (IPB). Was certified and have successfully operated the Raven UAV system during training and in combat environments. In my Raven duties, I have acquired around 120 hours of actual flight time.Developed District Stability Framework (DSF) and Village Stability Operation (VSO) products for the Company level. Developed a program in order to keep our Infantry Company up to date on all unconventional and/or conventional threats as they arose. Directed support with the Company leadership on how best to prepare company based training for the next threat.I had also developed an open source intel (OSINT) template book collection, that was available at the Company level for all leadership to study and review (specifically where our unit was projected to operate in) and a developmental book on ISIS/IS/ISIL. This OSINT book was useful to understand the growth of Insurgency groups that would soon become a threat in the future. ISIS is still a serious global threat so far, due to it’s successful use of Hybrid tactics and techniques, which many non-state actors have now adopted as well. Secondary Duties include Battle Staff NCO, Company Master Driver, Unit Prevention Leader (UPL) and Master Resilience Trainer.Prior Duties include Infantry Team Leader, Grenadier, OSRVT operator/ master trainer, Company FMT, FRG Treasurer, Company Barracks Maintenance.
