I am currently the Senior Vice President Business Operations for ASPINA America ("ASPINA"). ASPINA AMERICA is a wholly owned subsidiary of a family owned Japanese company located in Ueda City of the Nagano Prefecture in Japan. I oversee all aspects of Finance, Accounting, Operations and Human Resources for ASPINA America. ASPINA America is a $130M business. Globally, ASPINA's consolidated revenue is approximately $500M. I graduated from the University of San Diego and received a Bachelors of Accountancy. I went on to work in public accounting for the earlier parts of my career, where I gained valuable accounting experience in several different industries, including employee benefit plans, and real estate development and construction. I decided to bring my accounting experience to the private sector where I have worked the past fourteen years at ASPINA America.Currently I am involved in many critical and strategic activities for ASPINA America: resource planning, training of soft assets, maximizing ROI and minimizing costs. I was recently a participatory executive of ASPINA’s global team that determined where and how ASPINA can establish its first factory presence in North America. This involved numerous trips to Mexico, meeting with attorneys and firms specializing in Mexico analysis and support, study tariff and duties, labor rates, security, and human resource sustainability.
