Growing up, I dismantled every toy/game/gadget on sight in an attempt to understand how and why they worked the way they did, and, if I tried hard enough, I would rebuild them to full functionalityโ€”or better. I like to think that this work ethic coupled with an inquisitive nature grew into my aptitude for capturing new opportunities and creating new ways to solve problems. Starting my career as a software developer with a background in electrical engineering, my intention and motivation has always been fueled by my enormous passion for how technology can unlock a better version of ourselves and our futures. What I find intriguing about technology is how it can enable, foster, and inspire people to realize what excites them and harness their full potential. In fact, I try to adopt this approach to my own leadership style. As the VP of Global Renewals and Add-On Sales working with teams across NetApp, I adhere to a practice best represented by the Japanese methodology of 'kaizen,' a cycle of continuous rapid improvements gained through targeted activities, monitoring results, and incremental adjustments.
