Responsibilities:• Architecting and realizing a microservice-oriented, event-driven, software platform for PointRF’s product family.• Following Agile Scrum methodology to manage and deliver software product results.• Communicate process and results with team (Dev & QA) members, as well as clients and system integrators.Accomplishments:• Design and implementation of REST API’s for high-volume / high-frequency data emerging from product processes. Use of RAML specification format for API documentation.• Implementation of several microservices in Java (Dropwizard framework) and Python following product requirements.• Introduced a full-cycle Continuous Integration / Delivery on-demand infrastructure using Jenkins & Docker containers over AWS.• Deployed and managing a centralized logging, analytics and perf-monitoring platform based on the ELK and Grafana / InfluxDB stacks.• Design and implementation of canonical messages for hardware / software events that materialize product sub-processes.

The Cyprus Grid Certification Authority (CyGridCA) is the top-level certification authority for Grids in Cyprus. It provides X.509 certificates for identification and authentication purposes related to Grid activities in Cyprus. The CyGridCA was established within the EU project CrossGrid, and was later extended to cover the latest EU project EGEE (Enabling Grids for E-science in Europe). Its duty is to certify, with its digital signature, the following: * the public keys belonging to the CyGrid Certification Authority; * the public keys of the registration authorities which act for and on behalf of CyGridCA; * the public keys of end entities (users and machines).CyGridCA is mutually recognized by the Certification Authorities of most European countries and the USA. It has been certified by the EUGridPMA, the European Policy Management Authority for Grid Authentication in e-Science.
