A community focused on academic support, career development, and community building of both Black and Latinx computer science undergraduate students who are pursuing technical careers upon graduation.

• Gained technical and project-based skills in coding and AI on topics including data sourcing, organizing, visualization, implementation, and evaluation• Aimed to create a model capable of effectively forecasting and comparing the performance of economic sectors between countries using their stock indexes while also identifying the key driving features of economic growth.• Model uses Keras’ sequential model with an LSTM layer and 3 dense layers to analyze time series data.• Achieved model with mean absolute error of 3.4754% capable of accurately predicting closing prices.

• Leveraged knowledge in HTML, CSS, Python, C++, Java, and JavaScript to both lead and assist in full stack project development: websites, applications, and a variety of games. • Actively worked to effectively debug code and resolve software problems.

• Learned about the applications and fundamental technical concepts of AI including types of machine learning, gradient descent, and neural networks.• Investigated ethical implications related to data processing and AI implementation.• Collaborated with peers to make our project, AI for Resume Enhancement. Used supervised machine learning to train our resume reviewing model. Created stemming function to clean resumes prior to them going through the model. Function used tokenization, term frequency, inverse document frequency, and TF-IDF multiplication to reprocess the resume.
