I am currently undertaking the role of Construction Project management for residential houses development under Suswa limited ( a private client.)My roles under project managment entail the day to day planning ,running ,advising , procurement and costing of the construction of a high end residential estate project

I work as the main design engineer. Archbrill is a private startup consulting company in the construction business. We have a pool of professions where we design and build small to medium construction projects.

In this Role , I designed and supervised the construction of 1) A sandwich panel classroom block , composed of a solid concrete foundation in a stabilized black cotton soil region. A steel structure to hold the roofs and walls. Sandwich panels walling. and an It5 roof.2) Design and executed storm water drain articulation to the city council storm drain.3) Increased capacity of existing sewer by building a bigger Riflo biodigester and a series of 4 grease traps for the kitchen to handle a capacity of 300-400 humans.4)Design and execution of a new sewer line to support a new ablution block, setting levels , building manholes .5)Build a pergola external area for visitors entertainment. The structure involves a floating steel deck with a grass carpet , a steel frame structure with poly-carbonate roofs. The steel frames clad in Mvuli timber .6)Design and lay and expand a parking area.7) Design and build walkway paths for the campus using paving slabs and rigid casted pavements .8)Supervise internal cabinetry works.9)Renovation works on the main house -painting tiling ,gypsum works .

PROJECTS Engineer –Roles include:  Construction Project Management: I focus on project management techniques to oversee the planning, design, and construction of three construction projects, from the beginning to the end. Structural/Civil Design: I design all concrete, steel and civil structures that we build ensuring a high standard of safety and adherence global design and safety codes. Including production of as build drawings for at the handover phase of every site. Quality assurance: I help to ensure that the result of all projects we undertake are consistent with design and implementation designs made in the planning phase. Quantity survey and project tendering: I use my expert professional knowledge on construction costs and contracts to execute cost planning and commercial management throughout the entire life cycle of the projects I oversee from inception to post-completion. Technical site support: This involves resolving all issues that arise during construction and coming up with timely and efficient solutions. Site supervision: Site supervision involves the general direction, coordination and oversight of the on- site work processes.

As a Roads Engineer intern at Kenya National Highway Authority (KeNHA) I was taken through the learning process of design supervision and implementation of Road Maintaince in class A,B and C roads around Nairobi region.My Roles included: a) Design of Maintaince works on various roads including:Surface overlay at Limuru road (c62)Surface dressing at the following underpasses: Magana,Mugumu,Zambezi and Rironi all under A104 road.b) I also spent most of the time in the field learning first hand the execution of the projects and site supervision works.c) Site Management.d) I was also been engaged in laboratory work on some of the common physical tests we do for road materials.e) I also worked with the Survey team to understand Road Survey and Levelling.

As a Design Engineer intern in Safal Group I was exposed to constant learning and later I was included in the Design Engineering for the first two months. In the last month I was extended an opportunity of visiting several of the ongoing projects in the sites to see the implementation of the Light gauge Steel Roofs.In the site Visits my Roles included:a) Supervision of roof trusses installation.b) Inspection of final roof installation.c) Truss fabrication and joining details assembly at the sites.d) Analyze and evaluate challenges that arise from sites due to factors that are beyond the control of the designers such as initial lack of fit and devising the most creative ways to resolved the from the site.e) Attending site meetings to keep up with the most current developments and adjustments the contractor may require to be implemented in the site.f) Resolving other problems that may arise during the site installation.

Working as a Technical on a newly introduced transport payment card by City Hopper bus service Kenya. Duties included troubleshooting Cashier and Teller devices making sure they are in good working condition and provision of necessary technical assistance where needed by both client and provider in line of technological support.
