At the Wisconsin Union, I serve on a 3-person Executive team charged with furthering the organization's mission, vision, and values. I serve as a member of a governing board and policy body of a $51 million non-profit organization. Beyond this, I act as a leader of the organization's programming board, tasked with converting a multi-million dollar budget into 1000+ events per year by organizing the resources of hundreds of student leaders. I function as a Trustee of the Wisconsin Union Association, the Wisconsin Union alumni group that organizes over 90,000 students, faculty, alumni, and lifetime membership holders to act as a resource for the broad UW-Madison community.As a whole, I work to align student leaders with organization and campus-wide goals and values. At CUNA Mutual Group, I worked as an Application Development Intern supporting the Wealth Management Division. I documented, maintained, and added capabilities to critical systems for the functioning of the business unit. Through this, I interacted with a variety of individuals in order to ascertain requirements and translate them into value. I worked in a Scrum/Agile environment utilizing a variety of technologies, including AngularJS and the Jasmine testing framework. Overall, I worked within a large corporation to understand the unique and changing needs of the business unit, and translate these needs into capabilities that provide broad business value.

Office Of Representative Josh Zepnick Of The 9Th District

Intern on the reelection campaign of Representative Josh Zepnick of the 9th District. I used my knowledge of computer systems and programming to consolidate the donor management, constituent contact, and financial compliance databases in a comprehensive reelection effort for my Representative. In this capacity, my unification of backend operations allowed senior staff to spend more time in the district speaking with constituents, resulting in a victory in the closest election in that district in decades.I implemented extensive solutions in traversing linked lists of donor information, worked to implement Java-based solutions in interfacing with the Forward Constituent Management Database developed by the Wisconsin State Government, and used Java/Python scripting to expedite Excel based processes. Further, I served as the technological leader on the campaign, as I brought the most technological experience and expertise to the campaign staff. In essence, this meant that all solutions were designed and implemented by me upon being confronted by a simple everyday problem in campaign administration.

Served as a resource and guide to a wide variety of customer groups during their stay in University Housing facilities.
