My passion is adult education and real estate. So you can imagine my excitement when the curriculum team I was a part of at the OREA Real Estate College developed a blended learning, flipped classroom program that was awarded the 2015 LERN International Award for Excellence in Programming.Everything I do in education starts with creating a safe environment so that people can learn and then make the essential changes to what and how they do things in order to succeed. My focus is always on designing and delivering student centred physical and virtual classrooms based around case studies that reflect real life and capture the interest of the learner.In the physical classroom I enjoy employing classroom activities such as role plays, simulations and debates. In the online e-learning world, I use the latest educational methods such as game-based learning – why not let students have fun while learning the essentials to be practice ready to help their clients.
