*** Currently looking for a full-time role in PR/Events in New York City ***I'm Nicholas, a Northeastern University graduate originally from Long Island, New York. There's nothing that excites me like making a new connection, which is why I love working within public relations and events! I'm currently an intern at IFP Communications, a PR agency in the Seaport district with a small but mighty team of innovators and creative thinkers.Before I joined the IFP team, I gained event experience by planning speaking engagements at my alma mater. I worked with booking agencies to bring some of my favorite names in popular culture to the student body. We got to hear from Parvati Shallow (Survivor), Antoni Porowski (Queer Eye), and even Shea Coulee (RuPaul's Drag Race) to name a few! Speaking of Drag Race, fashion is a major interest of mine and I spent a summer helping a New York-based designer prepare outfits for an All-Stars season of the show!On a more professional level, I have omni-channel and international work experience in marketing, public relations, and events! While at Northeastern, I worked on Wayfair's search engine optimization team and lived in London for six months to work on PR and Marketing for a wellness travel agency! After graduating, I worked with The Blonds on their SS24 NYFW show and joined the global marketing team at Harry Winston! I also participated as a Program Assistant on a Dialogue of Civilizations, a Northeastern study abroad program that saw me shaking hands with thought leaders and professors in Croatia, Bosnia and Hezergovina, and London while scheduling programming for the students on the trip.I'm looking for a full-time role based in New York City related to events and/or public relations. I love engaging with new people and learning about new cultures and look forward to connecting with you!
