I'll never forget my first job as a restaurant worker. It's not because the hours were long and grueling (for a 16-year old kid, at least) - but because it's where I discovered what truly makes me tick: problem-solving. The restaurant industry is fraught with problems big and small - and those problems must be solved immediately to keep the customers satisfied and the business running. With each problem, I yearned to be the one to devise the solution and see it through. After completing my undergraduate degrees, I fused my passion for problem-solving with my my passion for innovative technologies at Deloitte Consulting, where I identified customer pain points, designed innovative technology solutions, collaborated with cross-functional teams to deliver the solutions, and managed projects from inception through implementation. I pursued an MBA to advance my grasp on business disciplines, with a focus on business technologies, entrepreneurship, marketing, and strategy so I could identify new technology-based product opportunities that played a strategic role in an organization and drive those opportunities forward.
