Things you won’t be shown anywhere else! Since 2005, I've been analyzing short-term and long-term behavior of wholesale electricity markets (nodal LMP in the United States, and zonal prices in Canada and Scandinavia). Before that I managed Generation Interconnection studies and some transmission planning in MISO (mid-continent ISO), and supported power system analysis software users for many years with my expertise in stability, power flow, fault analysis, EMTP, etc.I use highly detailed fundamental market simulations to quantify "basis" and "curtailment" risks for large-scale wind and solar and storage projects. Previously I've evaluated economic opportunities for transmission and generation development and helped utilities locate new generation and decide to join organized electricity markets.I know electric power generation, transmission, distribution and end-use. I follow technological developments and policy issues in Electricity Markets, Future Grid, Renewable Energy, Energy Storage and hydrogen, Machine Learning, as well as Microgrids and Distributed Energy Resources
