• Assist the senior analyst in covering publicly traded financial services stocks including inurance companies, REITs, and to a lesser extent specialty finance companies and banks. Duties include: conducting company and industry research, creating and maintaining financial models, forecasting operations, and writing company and industry reports.• Collaborate with our sales force to convey investment ideas to our clients, or speak directly with clients to facilitate stock trades. • Communicate with senior management of companies being researched; speak with industry contacts, and assist analysts in the evaluation of initial public offerings and secondary equity offerings.
