Nicholas Dick is a resident physician in the diagnostic radiology residency program at the University of Minnesota. He is a proven leader with experience in health care, supervision, team building, and problem solving. He has a medical degree (M.D.) and a B.S. in Neuroscience from the University of Minnesota. He is hoping to expand upon his current experience in medical research and patient care while continuing his training in diagnostic radiology.Nicholas is a military veteran, having had responsibilities such as the publication of Operating Procedures for four work centers, developing and implementing training programs for 106 personnel, and overseeing a $2.6 million asset account and 102,000 review-able items with no loss and zero discrepancies.Nicholas has been sought out for his approaches to both leadership and mentorship. Examples include his placement as a shift-lead trainer for a work center with 46 personnel, a class mentor for new Airmen as selected by career advisors, and his honors and awards listed below.Nicholas is formally trained in leadership principles and effective management as well as a host of other pertinent skills necessary to mission success in high-pressure military environments; suicide prevention and resiliency, sexual assault prevention and response, world culture adaptability, and personal comprehensive fitness (physical, spiritual, social, and emotional wellness) are only just a few.Along with his clinical training and military experience, Nicholas hopes to one day use all of these skills to provide exceptional patient care in the field of radiology with his wife (a board certified Family Medicine physician) to patients around the world.
