Graduated from Florida State University with my Masters in Biomedical Engineering in Spring 2018. I engaged in synthetic biology and insulin pump research while at Florida State University. I co-founded medical device startup out of Tallahassee, Florida. The startup is called Diatech Diabetic Technologies and is focused on improving insulin pump technology. My main responsibility is to make sure all the divisions within the company are running smoothly, but I have focused primarily on product development, legal and finances as of late. I realized coming out of the high school that biomedical engineers have a big impact on people throughout the world. So, my goal then and to this day has been to create devices (hardware, software or synthetic) that improve the health of people in need.
