Responsible for processing various oils to exacting standards utilizing multiple pieces of equipment. Required to manage multiple processes simultaneously with both manual and DCS operation. Heavy emphasis on planning, time management, and adapting to process upsets.

Trail, B.C.

Responsible for operation of lead smelting electric furnace. Primary duties include monitoring and maintenance of process to ensure smooth operation. Other responsibilities include overhead crane and forklift operation, minor maintenance and inspections in the field, enacting emergency procedures if necessary, logging process data and shift notes, and occasionally assisting other plant personnel in their duties.

Power Engineering

Attendance of the BCIT Power and Process Engineering two year program up to the final semester. Departed after underestimating.

Completion of a general four month program providing a technical overview and hands on experience in multiple industries and related.
