This role rapidly expanded into project related tasks including project management, pursuits, proposals, generating scope of works and feasibility studies, as well as providing custom reporting to partners regarding cash flow, resource management, profitability of jobs, etc. ➢ Created and implemented system controls for financial tracking and report management with regards to design, estimating, scheduling, and closeout to help better steer the success on the project and business level.➢ Supported project design, management, and delivery teams with pre-design, scheduling, estimating, financial forecasting, and project setup.➢ Provided field support for projects including: - Weekly progress meetings for contractors, project management, and owner representatives, - Acted as lead project manager on Sewer Pump Station Testing and Analysis – information collected was used to provide real time data to plan various for system upgrades, maintenance, etc.- Conducted field inspections for hazard mitigation programs. Collaborated with project managers, program managers, legal and contract personnel, Orleans Parish School Board (OPSB) personnel, Louisiana Recovery School District (RSD) personnel, state auditors, architects, contractors, engineers, and numerous civic groups and organizations to assist in the implementation of the master plan and undertaking renovation and new construction efforts.➢ Supported project management team by undertaking primary role of contract administrator and working in conjunction with legal team to create multifaceted contract for several Design-Build projects for both RSD and OPSB.➢ Responsibilities include project pre-design, contract procurement, contract implementation, providing project updates, cost and schedule analysis/tracking, and project closeout on dozens of school renovation and new construction projects.

➢ Assisted with the creation and updating of backend database systems to run project control reports such as cost projection and analysis reports along with detailed up-to-date schedule reports.➢ Provided support with the migration of large data sets of engineering, environmental, project controls, and right-of-way documentation from ProjectSolve (PB’s Project Information Management System) to a SharePoint based content management system for the California High Speed Rail Authority.➢ Duties include evaluation of documentation, researching and resolving issues pertaining to incorrect or inconsistent information, coordinating with other project control personnel to align and correlate documentation related to all areas of the new SharePoint content management system.

➢ Assured field inspection services were properly executed according to the specifications of the contract drawings, shop drawings, and the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development’s (LaDOTD) standard specifications. Coordinated the collection of and ensured quality of all documentation for an inspection staff of over fifteen.➢ Developed documentation standards and ensured comprehensive implementation of these standards project-wide by preparing and educating inspectors and other office personnel on documentation, plans, and specifications. This training enabled the inspection team to identify and create plans of action for potential obstacles.➢ Tracked, estimated, and properly documented all pay items before processing the monthly progress pay estimates (through AASTHO’s “SiteManager” Construction Management System). ➢ Personally assisted the Chief Operations and Chief Construction Director on the LA TIMED Program (the largest transportation infrastructure program in Louisiana’s history).➢ Supported the Chief Operations Director and the Program Controls Manager with analysis of the impact of the world market and Hurricanes Katrina and Rita on cost increases and schedule delays on the LA TIMED Program.➢ Completed the annual Program Changes for the LA TIMED Program, processed and distributed the quarter executive summary which outlined the Program’s status for both cost and schedule, and identified significant issues that had the potential to impact the Program’s budgets and completion dates.➢ Provided direct assistance with program control on a $5.2 billion transportation infrastructure improvement program. Including scheduling, estimating, updating costs, document control, and tracking inflation of labor and material cost.➢ Tracked and recorded each project segment’s schedule and budget on a monthly basis.➢ Became very proficient with MS Access and Excel by working alongside the Chief Manager of Database Systems on the LA TIMED Program.
