Nicholas Stander is the founder and CEO of Stander & Company, a business services firm located in downtown Humble, TX. A CPA by trade, Nicholas has created an innovative & unique company to support entrepreneurs in their pursuit of greatness. The always pioneering organization offers business coaching, bookkeeping, insurance, tax, payroll, & marketing services for businesses and individuals through a professional, seasoned team of experts. Mr. Stander is passionate about entrepreneurship and business development for small/medium enterprises.Nicholas was born in New Orleans and raised in St. Bernard Parrish. He is a graduate of The Tulane University of Louisiana with a dual concentration MBA (Finance & Management) and a Bachelor of Science (Finance). He is also a Certified Public Accountant and registered with the AICPA and a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA).Nicholas is an energetic guest speaker for business events and workshops with topics covering entrepreneurship, tax law changes and updates, business coaching, marketing, and business development. He served his clients and community as an authority on disaster loans for the COVID economic crisis. Mr. Stander has also been a guest lecturer at Rice University.Nicholas moved to Houston in 2000 where he met his wife, Emily, Stander & Company’s VP of Marketing and Public Relations. They reside in the Houston area with their three children. Nicholas enjoys reading non-fiction, playing guitar (a Gibson fan), and golfing with friends in his free time.The Stander family supports the Lake Houston Chamber of Commerce, the Greater East Montgomery Chamber of Commerce and other local business associations. Their philanthropic focus is on the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy, and Humble Area Assistance Ministries (HAAM). Mr. Stander serves as treasurer of the board for HAAM.
