-Responsible for monthly balance sheet reconciliations including inventory, cash, prepaids, accruals, goods received not invoiced. -Implemented new procedures for the processing and reconciling of the POS cash drawers at retail locations. This lead to proper reconciliation at the store manager level reducing instancing of cash drawer variances and reporting processed by the next business morning for review by the accounting team.-Process payroll on a weekly basis through Complete Payroll Solutions. -Working closely with the Human Resources Consultant and Complete Payroll Solutions on the implementation of a new self-service payroll and time keeping system.-Acting lead liaison for the Company with the external audit team to help drive the completion of their audit for three fiscal years. This included testing revenue and revenue in transit for proper period close cut-off, testing warranty reserves and adequacy of accruals, re-calculating deferred revenue for extended warranty revenue recognition, tested various expense accounts for proper classification of SG&A versus COGS and presented suggested changes to the acquiring company’s accounting team.-Helped prepare initial S-1 documents and financing documents with the retained lawyers. Led the review and updating process of drafted documents, updated and wrote sections of the prospectus.-Responsible for all daily and month end accounting and finance functions. Prepared all month end reconciliations, including a review and updating reconciliations for two quarters.
