I am currently enrolled in my final semester of McGill University's BCL/JD program as an inaugural McCall MacBain scholar. Through my coursework and extra-curricular experiences such as mooting, journals, and credited clerkships, I have built foundational legal skills in private and public law. I developed a professional interest in litigation during summer internships at the Ministry of the Attorney General (Civil Law Division), the Office of the Chief Coroner of Ontario's Inquest Unit, and Paliare Roland LLP. I will spend my articling term clerking at the Ontario Court of Appeal beginning in August 2025.Prior to law school, I spent two years working full time in the public affairs sector. I benefit from a range of broad professional experience in policy and communications from work experience at Deloitte, Navigator, and the Ontario Public Service.I strive to be a community leader with a purpose of promoting inclusive communities and broadening opportunities. Proudly born and raised in Northern Ontario, I have a particular interest in identifying and addressing barriers that impact rural and northern communities. I keenly follow Canadian politics and dedicate my time to issues involving community development, youth mentorship, and criminal justice. When home, I enjoy all the outdoor activities the north has to offer, no matter the season.
