After presenting the proposal, it was accepted for implementation• Initiated a new hiring strategy to target highly talented foreigners living in Japan. Oversaw the review of 90 applications, 60 interviews, 30 final tests, and 14 new hires, with a budget of less than 20,000 yen• Developed an intensive computer-programming curriculum for the new hires exclusively using free online resources. Hires were able to effectively enter real-world projects upon completion

• Assisted in planning and execution of English classes for junior high school students. Took initiative with struggling students resulting in increased attention during class time which improved their attitude toward English• Planned and taught creative elementary school English classes utilizing the total physical response technique to keep students energized, engaged, and learning. Resulted in a positive impression about learning the English language• Initiated and implemented a plan to write a column in the town magazine on international culture in Japanese. The column received positive reviews from community members• Organized tour dates and planned concerts in Nichinan and the surrounding area for Dr. Mike Nord and Makoto Matsushima, an improvisational music and dance duo.
