My experiences include:- Invented, engineered and launched RiskLimiter Kitchen, the first application to automate cooking and cooling processes in commercial kitchens. Used by companies such as Whole Foods and Eatn' Park, Kitchen uses sensors and predictive analytics to provide evidence of reasonable care, reduce product loss and increase safety of food for diners and shoppers.- Developed strategy and executed a plan to move on premises and managed IT resources to Platform-As-A-Service (PAAS) providers such as Amazon AWS. Worked directly with DevOps and software engineers to write infrastructure-as-code, move data and reroute network traffic.- Helped grow internal development teams by leading hiring efforts, mentoring junior staff, and creating environments where employees feel free to take risks and push the boundaries of what is possible with software.I firmly believe that technical leaders need to have strong technical abilities and thrive in environments that require technical competency, interpersonal relationship skills and leadership.
