I am currently a researcher and mechanical engineering master’s student at Aalto University in Finland completing the latter half of my stay as a Fulbright scholar. My bachelors was in applied physics and mathematics, with a few courses in business. At Aalto, I have taken electives in computer science and electrical engineering which have cultivated my interest in computer vision. This last summer I conducted research on alternative measurement systems using mobile phones to digitally recreate objects of interest and assess their dimensions. I am working on a laundry list of a personal projects pertaining to computer vision implementation in robotic products as well.I am planning to complete my thesis in the coming year and enter the workforce immediately afterwards. In between my academic and professional endeavors I’ll be exploring Finnish language and culture, hiking, playing fútbol, and enjoying photography.
