Maintains files documenting program eligibility, academic need, services provided, and progress; ensure participants adhere to degree plan. Participates in assessment, monitoring, a documenting student contact. Assist students with admissions procedures and financial aid opportunities for graduate school. Input information into Student Access and maintain database. Assist in preparing and submitting the Annual Performance Report and sort data as needed. Documents results of the program to insure continued funding. Utilize information from APR for University Assessment.Oversees workshops, tutoring, advising, trips, & programs. Assists with workshop presentations for student participants to learn about academic study skills, life skills, and/or financial literacy.Assists in maintenance of accurate program tutoring records, accounting records, and correspondence; prepares reports as necessary. Creates and Manages program budget. Serve as official representative of SSS in dealings with the U.S. Dept. of Ed. Learns, interprets, and applies federal regulations related to the TRIO grant program to remain in compliance. Oversee provision of program/college resources, adequate office facilities, and procurement. Ensure all federal guidelines and regulations and institutional policies are met.

• Provide high quality individualized academic, career, and financial advisement to 60 SSS participants.• Ensure participants adhere to their selected degree plan.• Maintain individual student folders documenting program eligibility, academic need, services provided, and progress. • Assist in preparing the Annual Performance Report (APR)• Assist students with admissions procedures and financial aid opportunities for graduate school. • Construct tutoring report using tutoring records completed by the tutor and tutee during each session.• Prepare and provide program and tutor evaluations to SSS participants at the end of each semester.• Present a variety of study skill and financial literacy workshops to participants.• Maintain SSS organizational blackboard shell.
