Nichole was the editor of Hispanic Executive magazine at Guerrero Media. There, she was committed to elevating the voices of Latino and Hispanic leaders in today's world, where they often go unheard or ignored by mainstream media.She is a 2021 University of Iowa honors graduate with a B.A. in journalism and English on the publishing track. She was an associate editor for Imagination Publishing under The Mx Group, the 2022 Agency of the Year, according to B2B Marketing. There, she worked directly with several clients, such as Project Management Institute (PMI) and Association of Diabetes Care and Education Specialists (ADCES). She also occasionally created content for InReach from AmeriHealth Caritas, JPMorgan Chase, Zekelman Industries and more. Her responsibilities at Mx were to create and manage their client's digital and print content for social media, magazines, blogs, digital publications, and more. Nichole was also a columnist for award-winning newspaper, The Gazette in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, often providing critique on the culture wars and controversial social issues, especially as it concerned giving voice to marginalized groups. Previously, she was a general assignment reporter for the Chicago Sun-Times and the editor of Off-Kilter Media, a contemporary arts, culture, and entertainment LLC in Chicago. Nichole has experience in writing, design, and editing for digital or print magazines and newspapers, as well as skills in podcast hosting and production.
