I provide supervision to clinical staff. I have been filling in as the Child and Adolescent Supervisor while also completing all the duties of my assigned job.I review consumers clinical information upon assessment to determine necessity, complete pre certifications and receive authorization for PHP or DAS levels of care from insurance companies. I consult with medical and treatment staff regarding patient diagnosis, medical justification, length of treatment, and case documentation on a weekly basis.I complete continued stay reviews for consumers on a weekly basis with managed care companies.I assess records for appropriate level of care and treatment, aftercare, and discharge planning for consumers.I review documentation to ensure all are therapeutic notes are meeting state requirements with required information.Weekly audits of charts for all staff within program.

As a milieu therapist I am responsible for the teenage population of the partial hospitalization program. Based on the mental health needs of the consumers in the program, I organize therapeutic materials and facilitate group therapy with all consumers. Topics range from anxiety, depression, PTSD, ODD, CD, self harm, ADHD, relationships, conflict resolution, stress management etc. I am also available to each consumer to provide one on one therapy when needed. I am responsible for daily progress notes on each consumer as well as keeping the treatment team informed of all reports of self harm, suicidal ideation, or attempts.

I provided mobile therapy (80% of cases), which consisted of individualized one-one-one therapy sessions within the home, school, and community settings for the child, and worked on skill transference across all domains. My case load reflected my interest of working with those diagnosed with emotional disorders and a traumatic history. I conducted assessments to support the goals and objectives that I created in the individualized treatment plan. I was responsible for identifying interventions that will were utilized with each client and collected data to reflect progress and/or regression. I successfully created treatment plans that were approved upon review. I ran interagency service plan team meetings to discuss progress and/or regression of behaviors unique to each child, and developed/updated treatment plans accordingly. Monthly data reviews were conducted, utilizing the data collected throughout sessions based on the data tools I created. I collaborated with all members of the treatment team or other professionals involved in order to maintain continuity of care. I also provided specialized and individualized treatment interventions to children with autism spectrum disorder as 20% of my clients were on the spectrum. I conducted Functional Analysis of Behaviors (FBA), Social Skill and VB-MAPP assessments to develop programming based on skill deficits noted. I was responsible for completing daily progress notes and maintaining client confidentiality at all times.
