Administer diagnostic procedures, modified assessments for proper evaluation, interpreted results, formulated client goals and IEPs, and documented progress. Counsel students, caregivers, and other professionals regarding therapeutic interventions and assessment results. Implement augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems to provide alternative modes of communication for individuals in the school environment. Work closely with parents, classroom teachers, special educators and related service providers to formulate an interdisciplinary IEP for each student to support their individual needs in the educational setting.
