I am responsible for the daily scheduling of resources for capital projects, and operational tasks, on Ausgrid’s electrical network in the Chatswood / Northern Beaches region. Some key responsibilities include:• Responsible for the resource scheduling for in excess of 100 staff utilised in the annual delivery of Capital works and operational expenditure.• Create, update and maintain resource schedules on a daily basis.• Evaluate project and program plans to determine resource allocations to fulfill plan activity requirements.• Provide workload forecasting and statistics.• Negotiate with responsible officers on all aspects of projects and programs when contractualrequirements and milestones are not readily achievable.• Maintain task activity durations, lags, leads and relationships when undertaking plan consideration.

I was responsible for planning and coordinating commissioning works, or new and replacement substations, as part of capital projects in the Northern Sydney’s distribution network. Some key responsibilities:• After receiving a design, planning staged commissionings, ensuring project is completed within budget, on time and as per project scope.• Meeting field supervisors to discuss field staff number requirements to get projects completed and timing of activities.• Submitting resource requests to scheduler to book in field staff to complete projects.• Writing High Voltage and Low Voltage switching on the distribution network to ensure work can proceed safely.• Keeping track of project financials to ensure project is not overspend, and in the event, it will be overspent producing a variation request in advance for a specific increase in budget.• Mentoring and assisting other staff members in the office about questions they have relating to their projects and providing advice based on my previous experience and knowledge.• Provide project updates upon request to senior management on sensitive projects affecting the community or network security.
