It was a large fine art studio mainly focussed on making fine art for private and commercial environments. It was structured as a classical studio and although it ran on a commercial basis it also had research at its heart. Perfect Circle tackled a variety of work from the creation of original works for the hotel industry to large mosaics for public and private spaces. At its height it tackled projects up to a value of c. £500k.

SOGO was invited to bid for a space in the program which led to the establishment of the SOGO gallery which is a continuation of the art magazine SOGO. I was involved in setting up the program, supporting the gallerist Craig Wallace and overseeing the governance of the gallery. I still advise the gallery.

Working With Alasdair GrayAlasdair Gray May 2006 - Dec 2019GlasgowWorking for and collaborating with Alasdair Gray.From 2005 I had the honour and pleasure of working with Alasdair Gray. Assisted him on his large cycle of murals at Òran Mór periodically over several years. Manufactured and installed the Hillhead mural at Hillhead Subway station. Alasdair’s design for the mural had its genesis in a drawing I had done in 1999. We worked together on several other projects and latterly collaborated on a potential mural for the outside of the Scottish Parliament.
