Current๐ฌ Thrilled to join MIT necstlab to join groundbreaking research in aerospace materials!๐ Project Overview: Leading efforts to manufacture and test carbon nanotube (CNT)/polysiloxane ultra high temperature resin (UHTR) nanocomposite laminate samples for spacecraft reentry applications. Testing includes micro-computed Tomography , Thermogravimetric Analysis , polarized Raman spectroscopy, and Oxyacetylene ablative testing.๐ฅ Reporting Structure: Working under the guidance of Palak Patel, focusing on enhancing previous research by exploring thicker laminate samples (30-50 ply).๐ Responsibilities:Refining the manufacturing process for thicker laminates.Conducting rigorous testing to evaluate sample properties.Assessing nanocomposites' suitability for spacecraft reentry.Excited to contribute to aerospace innovation at MIT necstlab!
