The future holds great things for us all with a little work. I have believed since I was a child that each stop along the way in my life has been a beneficial building block. As a child I always wanted to show everyone that I could accomplish anything, even when they said I could not. This attitude of determination and passion has sustained me through the valleys of life and given me the drive to continue to press forward. I recently obtained my Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and the road to obtain the degree had some down moments that all most derailed my chance at becoming the first of my siblings to obtain my degree. The road was difficult due to a football injury and a subsequent car wreck the following year that caused head injuries that were severe enough to force me to withdraw from school. However, after recovering and being told that college was going to be a tough option the challenge was laid down and I pressed on to graduation. At times it was difficult, but obtaining my degree was a two fold purpose. The first purpose was to prove to myself and everyone else that it could be done. The second purpose was to show my children that you can overcome anything in pursuit of your dreams. I am currently seeking my Master Degree and hope to finish by mid-April of 2015. I have always loved a good challenge and have always learned quickly.Over the last eight years I have worked as a Police Officer for the City of Calera and at times the job has been rewarding. The job has been rewarding due to the fact I have been a patrol officer and as a public servant feel that it is my responsibility to be a positive view for the members of the community. In my career I have been not only a patrol officer, but also a criminal investigator. I have managed crime scenes and officers and delegated task in order to gain the best information and evidence available. As an investigator I researched and gathered evidence about all individuals involved in the crime.
