Throughout my time with Crosby Composites I’ve helped improve the reliability of their warehouse by introducing numerous processes which are designed to reduce the error/damage rate within the department. After getting my bearings in the first few weeks I had reduced the error/damage margins to almost none. Only when I was given full control of the department errors had gone down and the ratio of parts and work had increased, by taking on supplier control, some admin and invoicing all while producing and maintaining the high standard we set ourselves. I spent 8 years with Cooper Callas, within this this time my role was a warehouseman for 6 and a half years, progressing into a supervisors role. They helped me develop my knowledge within the plumbing industry and built my experience as a warehouseman. Including; route planning/logistics, operating machinery safely ( since 2008 I’ve held an NPORS operators card for Counter balance, Reach truck and Order pickers), picking/packing, manual handling, stock taking and customer service.
