As a FIRST Alumnus from Team 401 and Physics graduate from Virginia Tech, I have a diverse and deep understanding of electronics. I have experience in every stage of design for CubeSats, including PCB design, structural design, and assembly of flight hardware. I have been involved with multiple projects through Virginia Tech, including the Virginia CubeSat Constellation (VCC), which deployed from the ISS on July 3, 2019. Primarily, I work on designing the electrical system of CubeSats, working around commercial off-the-shelf products, but recently I have been designing custom power distribution boards as solutions for problems that I have run into with previous satellites launched by Virginia Tech.I am also versed in radio frequency physics and engineering, as I have worked on maintaining and building a new radio telescope for the Physics department at Virginia Tech. I have also spent a winter semester with Alion Science and Technology as an RF Engineering Intern.
