My goal as a coach is to use the platform of Volleyball to teach about life and to create an environment where our Student-Athletes grow, both on and off the court, to become capable, successful, and proud human beings. It is within this environment that structures are put in place to teach these young women & men not just to win volleyball matches, but how to work hard and compete in all that they do and, most importantly, to enjoy the process of seeking excellence. Player driven teams win, and athletes within our programs are empowered to play an active part in their learning process so as to instill a sense of lasting resolve. I constantly strive to create a Student-Athlete Experience that makes each person feel appreciated for who they are as an individual and valued for what unique characteristics and skills they bring to our table. Within this safe and inclusive environment, we are able to push one another outside our comfort zones in order to find ways to be better on a daily basis, while being assured that these challenges come from a place of caring and acceptance.
