Leading a regional team for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution in our Water Safety team covering the North and East of England.(Berwick - Upon - Tweed to Burnham - On - Crouch. My roles include creating & maintaining partnerships with organisations to help reduce the risk of drowning, share key messages to help keep people safe in & around the water but also how to enjoy water based activities safely. I also oversee & plan education delivery through participation & teacher/trainer lead sessions. Chair and support county & local authority drowning prevention forums in the region to guide & encourage others to create safe places for people to enjoy aquatic environments. I’m a qualified beach lifeguard, trainer and coach where I’m the current volunteer head coach of Waveney Surf Lifesaving Club leading teams to compete regionally & internationally. I’m also a member of the national surf lifesaving sports committee for surf lifesaving GB. Keen open water swimmer, long distance prone paddle boarder and surfer. Love of the sea and exploring new places to dip, swim, surf or paddle.
