Continuing 20 seasons of MSA U.K ( highest level national racing) in the last 50 years on most of the U.K's most prestigious circuits ( favourite is Oulton Park). Currently an active licensed ' International 'C' MSA level Racing Driver racing in 2 prestigious U.K championships 1. www.sports2000.co.uk and 2. www.hscc.org.uk/championships/thundersports in which I have been a class winner in 2022 at Donington Park at 64 yrs of age. ( Cars raced include 4x Mallocks, Royale RP26, March 793 F3 & now Historic Sports 2000 Royale S2000M Sports Racing Car ). Also, British Sub Aqua Club 'Sports Diver' since 1988, pleasure ski-er in the Alps since 1989 and published author. In 2018 I successfully achieved Certification in portraiture painting at the Manchester Realism Academy studying with Louis Smith at www.louissmithart.com. Previously, 30 years experience in Senior Level Sales, Marketing & Coaching , starting as junior Account Manager with Hewlett Packard in 1987, IT hardware sales into large scale system integration and outsourcing deals with Sema Group (now ATOS Origin) where last position was Sales Director for Manufacturing Sector in Outsourcing. Moved to Cap Gemini in 1997 as Director of Process Industries. Became Business Unit Director for Transport & Industry at Thales Informations Systems in 2001 and led the sales resurgence of this business growing it from circa £6m in 2001 to £60m in 2007. In 2008 joined Invensys IPS as Sales Director for NW Europe, 2009 was a sabbatical in which I wrote and published a book, rated as 5* by industry gurus on Amazon.co.uk, about complex deal sales called 'Customers are F.I.C.K.L.E', before joining IBM Global Business Services in 2010. At the end of 2011 fulfilled a lifelong ambition to own and develop my own sales training and coaching company which has been profitable and successful since inception, working with senior Directors & Managers and their reports achieving the highest possible ratings from Globally renowned companies, till its closure only due to retirement in 2018.
