- Provide authority on large loss casualty exposures for auto, home and watercraft- Supervise Associate Claims Examiners- Make decisions on complex coverage issues- Collaborate with corporate counsel and senior management due to severity and/or complexity of claims - Monitor large loss claims and provide direction to claims units - Gather and analyze claims data to provide information on claims trends - Developed and manage a claims internal website- Vendor management involving training claims personnel, implementation of the program, monitoring the program, and providing feedback to senior management

Job duties:- Responsible for investigations concerning moderate to high complex auto and homeowner injury claims.- Negotiating settlements of injury claims with attorney represented parties.- Investigate coverage issues with interpretation of policy language.- Attend court to resolve liability or injury disputes. - Attend mediation to attempt to resolve cases prior to trial.- Identify fraudulent injury, auto, and homeowners claims.
