Nick Barber is a video producer who specialises in video production for web and social media. Nick’s portfolio mainly consists of sports related content and is complemented by a diverse range of corporate and creative projects. In 2012 Nick graduated with first class honours from his Bachelor of Film and Television degree at Swinburne University. Whilst studying Nick produced several short films including the ambitious science fiction film ‘Aislinn’. Immediately after graduating Nick commenced work at the visual effects company Iloura. In late 2013 he was moved up from his role as Data Wrangler to Visual Effects Editor. Nick has credits in several noted films including 'The Great Gatsby'​, 'The Wolverine'​, 'James Cameron’s Deep Sea Challenge'​, 'Mad Max: Fury Road'​ and 'Spongebob Squarepants 2'. Whilst at Swinburne Nick started his freelance project, Blacksuit Productions. In 2015 he was able to take this on full time and is a frequent contractor to More than a Game Productions and Hook Media. Through More than a Game Productions Nick has worked for some prestigious clients including Melbourne Victory FC, Melbourne Storm, Melbourne Rebels and the Western Bulldogs. Nick’s most notable videos with Victory include match experience video of the 2013 exhibition match between Liverpool FC and Melbourne Victory hosted at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in front of 94,000 fans. Nick also made a match experience video for Victory’s emphatic win over Sydney FC in 2014/15 Grand Final which has seen much success on social media.Nick has a proven track record for being reliable and professional, whilst delivering dynamic and creative results for his clients.
