Providing Engineering Design and manufacturing support for Temporary Works Construction Equipment, as a specialist expert in heavy duty fabrication and hydraulic ram design, and Research and Development.I'm lucky to be allowed to perform a very flexible split role choosing my own areas of focus and interest. I have designed several new products for MGF in R&D role, 350T ram, T700 tank brace, Wall Bridge, Gangway Ramps, MS1, 3 & 4 EMV Hammers and ancillaries, Auger and ancillaries, Air Hammer and ancillaries,203+ & Pitch and Pull.I perform the majority of the company's bespoke design function for internal and external customers. And also head up our Remote Prop Load Monitoring function, and our Ground Vibration Monitoring function.

I held various roles supporting the design of Powered Roof Support units used in Longwall mining for Coal extraction.Started as a Structural engineer designing heavy duty welded fabrications for extreme conditions.Was promoted to Senior Engineer, looking after special projects and as a CAD specialist due to programming skills, creating specialist programs focused on stressing and linkage analysis. Administrating the company's cad system and providing CAD training.My final role was running the specialist department of Leg and Ram design. Responsible for the design and development of double acting single and two stage rams, ranging from dia 60mm bore to dia 600mm bore, capable of forces upto 1300Tonnes, and capable of performing in extreme harsh environments due to specialist coatings.
