• Provide in-house legal advice;• Working directly with the relevant internal stakeholders to draft, review, and revise contracts such as vendor agreements, purchase agreements, license agreements, inter­ local agreements, construction agreements, SaaS Agreements, etc.;• Oversee timely and appropriate responses on behalf of the University to requests for records and other information as required, including, but not limited to, under the Texas Public Information Act (TPIA), the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), and subpoenas;• Assist in the development and revision of policies, procedures, and forms to satisfy compliance requirements;• Conduct legal research and analysis and draft legal memoranda;• Oversee and serve as liaison with outside counsel in both litigation and non-litigation matters;• Represent the University at specified administrative proceedings before external state agencies as well as investigations on matters of student disciplinary matters/complaints, internal investigations/grievances, and internal termination hearings;• Draft responses representing the University's official legal position on matters before enforcement agencies or other adjudicatory entities
