I joined NLP in 2004 as Senior Heritage Consultant, advising clients on alterations to listed buildings, managed planning and listed building consent applications, and producing Conservation Management Plans, Heritage Impact Assessments and Townscape and Visual Impact Assessments, including for Environmental Statements in the case of EIA developments. Key projects include a Conservation Management Plan and Heritage Impact Assessment for West Horsley Place, a Grade I listed former manorial estate in Surrey; and Risky Business? - a report into Heritage at Risk outcomes for Historic England.

I worked with planning policy and conservation officers across the London Boroughs to promote robust heritage policy within local plans, including commissioning characterisation studies and tall buildings assessments. I moderated the annual conservation areas at risk survey and coordinated the State of Conservation report for the Palace of Westminster and Tower of London World Heritage Sites.
