Supported the organization in marketing and membership activities which included the launch of The Lighting Library® and provided direction on strategic implementation and communication campaigns for the Sustaining Membership program.

Support the company’s strategic efforts focusing on the Specification community and responsible for developing marketing programs that address the company’s aggressive (LED-) growth and industry-leadership plans leveraging our breadth of solutions as well as the legacy of our well-respected brands.

Responsible for implementing Business Development programs and policies that support the company’s aggressive marketing and growth strategies, enhancing corporate brand image as a leading innovative lighting company. Led change process in Educational & Training programs with new and innovative approaches (on-line, CEU accredited, on-site: Led the design and construction teams for state-of-the-art Lighting Center Facility in Tupelo plant, a $2M investment - the 1st LEED –CI Certified project in the state of Mississippi). Division Champion of the overall sustainability program responsible for updating the Strategic Plan.

Managed integration of Mexican operations into the North American scope of activities by leveraging regional purchasing, production, product management and product development resources. In Mexico City (98-01), managed advertising, promotions, literature, trade shows, and point of sale materials and led logistics department in responsibility for product availability and 3rd party physical distribution.

Managed manufacturing, logistics, and new product development for global high-Volt halogen product line. Implemented sales and promotional activities with over ten national European lighting organizations. Served on international Halogen product management team interfacing with global engineering and R&D organizations. Customer visits and sales presentations in key North American, Latin American and European countries, resulted in addressing on-site product line, pricing, availability, and specification issues.

Directed market development activities for the Commercial, Hospitality and Specifier segments in the professional channel. Developed new and strategic product positioning and communication addressing end user needs, product benefits and lighting application requirements. Developed programs in public relations, training, advertising, literature, presentations, and trade shows.
